Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE Headed for Sprint

Sprint will become the first U.S. carrier to offer an LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 when it launches the device on its 4G network on September 14.

Customers will be able to purchase the Android tablet through all Sprint sales channels for $649.99, or for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $27.09. Customers will also have to purchase a wireless service contract, or add the device to an existing contract.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, which debuted in a $499.99, WiFi-only version this summer, runs Android 4.4 KitKat on a 2.3GHz processor, and has 3 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

The tablet has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display at a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing one.

Sprint’s version will be able to connect to this telecom’s 4G LTE network, giving it nearly ubiquitous high-speed access to the Internet.
