D-Link will to be partnership team to develop integrated networking solutions

Networking device maker D-Link will form a D-link and Partners Team, aiming to roll out integrated networking solutions featuring related products and solutions from its strategic partners, according to company chairman John Hsuan.

D-Link will utilize its global brand platform, a worldwide chain of 186 business outlets, as well as its logistic and after-sales services to market integrated solutions developed by the partnership team and also discrete products from individual partners to the global market, Hsuan stated.

Companies to join the alliance include Mitac Information Technology, Skardin Industrial, Z-Com, Harvatek, Morelink Technology, V2Plus Technology.

Meanwhile, D-Link will also deepen its cooperation with brand vendors, including Apple, Amazon and Microsoft. D-Link will launch Internet cameras supporting Apple's HomeKit and smart sockets for Amazon Alexa, while participating in Microsoft's Super Wi-Fi project, Hsuan revealed.

D-Link also aims to swing back to profitability before March 2017 when he plans to step down, Hsuan said.

Total losses for the January-September period reached NT$1.066 billion compared to NT$892 million a year earlier. EPS for the nine-month period was negative NT$1.68.
